Dr. Ine De Goeyse PhD
Ine has graduated as a bachelor in the Farmaceutical an Biological Techniques at the Regaschool, Leuven in 2001. Thereafter she went to the University of Antwerp and graduated as a biologist in 2005. After that she started a PhD on molecular biological approaches to enhance immune responses towards Theileria parva at the University of Antwerp in collaboration with the Institute of Tropical Medicine (ITM) in Antwerp. After she has finished her PhD, Ine started working at ITM Antwerp, to continue the work on Theileria parva and East Coast fever (ECF) with funding of the international ECF Consortium and the Bill and Melinda Gates foundation. In 2018 she started at Sciensano on a three year project to support the Theileria vaccine production at the Centre for Ticks and Tick Borne Diseases (CTTBD, Malawi) and development of an in vitro potency method.
