Restart weekend reporting from 27/3 [1]
Due to the current epidemiological situation, the Hospital & Transport Surge Capacity committee has asked hospitals to report their numbers to Sciensano again on a daily basis, including weekends. As a result, all COVID-19 figures will be updated daily on the Epistat dashboard and in the open datasets. A daily report will appear every day.
On Tuesday 23 March 2021, the General and University Hospitals received a letter from the “Hospital & Transport Surge Capacity” committee, requesting them to report their data to Sciensano again on a daily basis, including Saturday and Sunday. This way, the committee wants to guarantee a close follow-up and evaluation of the global COVID-19 occupancy rate in the hospitals.
As a result, all COVID-19 figures will again be updated daily on the Epistat dashboard [2] and in the open datasets and a daily report will appear every day, including weekends.
