Summary Cases of chronic wasting disease (CWD) in wild cervids have yet not been reported in Europe, Whereas the disease is considered enzootic in free-ranging mule deer, Rocky mountain elk and White-tailed deer in the area of Colorado, Wyoming, and Nebraska.
