Description
Sciensano’s cancer center invites you to the online DNA symposium. During that symposium, we ask the question, “How should we deal with DNA in our society?”
This year, on the website www.dnadebat.be everybody got the chance to debate the use of information in our DNA. For example, do people want to know what diseases they could get in the future? And should our employers be allowed to gain insight into our strengths? Is a sports club allowed to use an athlete’s DNA to see if he can become a top athlete?
The conclusions of this debate will be presented at the online DNA Symposium on Thursday, November 19th.
