Description
World Metrology Day is dedicated to “Measurement for Health”. The aim: to underline the importance of measuring in healthcare for the wellbeing of us all.
During this workshop — organised by FPS Economy — Sciensano and the nuclear research centre CEN ∙ SCK will discuss recent metrological developments in food and nutrition and radiation dosimetry for health applications. Next the Belgian National Metrology Institute (SMD) will present examples of their metrology efforts for health.
Participants are encouraged to present their projects, either using a few slides or simply by sharing their message.
The workshop will conclude with roundtable discussions on key metrological trends and future challenges.
