Celia Burgaz MSc
Celia is a PhD candidate in environmental sciences at Sciensano and the Université libre de Bruxelles (ULB).
Her project, part of the INFORMAS network, consists of creating a policy index towards healthier, more sustainable and equal food systems. She is a nutritionist and public health specialist with a background in non-communicable disease prevention interventions in Finland, Kenya and Ecuador.
Her main interests are food systems and their policy framework, agroecology, food security and sustainable adaptation. Her long-term career goal is to promote healthy diets from sustainable food systems to jointly address malnutrition in all its forms and climate change.
