Mr Elias Vermeiren MSc

Elias graduated as MSc in Biochemistry & Biotechnology in 2018. He majored in Bio-informatics en systems biology and minored in biomedical biotechnology. After obtaining his degree, he acquired experience in software development as a consultant. Before his current job at Sciensano, he worked as a software developer for Procter and Gamble. There he had the lead developing role in an End-2-End formulation tool for the liquid fabric enhancers department.
In March 2022, Elias joined the LINK-VACC team at Sciensano as a data analyst. Since july 2022, he also contributes to the development of the epidemiology and infectious diseases visualization tool, epistat.sciensano.be.
