Dr. Laura Van den Borre PhD
Postdoctoral researcher
Laura Van den Borre received her Master’s degree in Sociology from the Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB) in 2011. During her doctoral studies, she examined occupational mortality differences with case studies of the asbestos industry, cleaning personnel and teachers. She obtained her PhD in Sociology at VUB in 2018, after which she worked as a postdoctoral researcher on several research projects (e.g., SODHA, TALIS). Since 2021, she is working at Sciensano as a postdoctoral researcher on the HELICON project. She also remains affiliated with Interface Demography at the VUB.
