Dr. Pharm. Laurence Geebelen DrPH

Laurence Geebelen graduated in 2013 as a pharmacist from the Catholic University of Leuven with a Master’s Degree in Pharmaceutical Care. After completing a postgraduate course in tropical medicine at the ITM in Antwerp, she worked for a short time in a pharmacy. At the end of 2015, she started working at Sciensano, first as a PhD student on on her thesis ‘Tick-borne diseases in Belgium’ (collaboration with UCLouvain) and currently as a scientist in the unit “Environmental related infectious diseases”.
