Marylène Tignon graduated in 1993 from the University of Sciences and Technologies from Lille (France) as Master in Biology and Science of Organisms and Populations. In 2002 she defended her PhD degree in Agronomical Sciences and Genetic Engineering at the Faculty of Agronomical Sciences of Gembloux (Belgium). She started in 2000 at CODA (Sciensano’s predecessor) as research assistant. Currently she is involved on veterinary virology topics including porcine, bovine and horse viral diseases.
