Sciensano proudly coordinates METROFOOD-FED.BE, a national project supporting the development of METROFOOD.BE, the Belgian node of METROFOOD-ERIC, the European Research Infrastructure for Metrology in Food and Nutrition. One of our core missions is to ensure that Sciensano’s services are reliable, well-developed and sufficiently innovative to effectively support a wide range of users in tackling food and nutrition challenges.
To ensure our services stay aligned with stakeholder needs, we invite you to complete a short, anonymous survey focused on two priority areas:
- Food Contact Materials, analysing how chemicals migrate from packaging, containers and equipment into food, assessing health risks, and recommending safer solutions to protect consumers and support industry innovation.
- Nanoparticles in Food, characterising nanoscale materials used as additives or in smart packaging, weighing benefits like better shelf life and nutrient delivery against safety risks to guide evidence-based innovation and regulation.
Whether you are a researcher, manufacturer, policymaker or consumer advocate, your insights are invaluable. Your feedback will help us improve and adapt our services, identify unmet needs and research gaps and strengthen our collaboration with stakeholders.
