Whole genome sequencing (WGS)

Purpose of the test

To determine whether multiple isolates are genetically related.

Criteria for performing this test in the context of reference activities

This test will be performed only when investigating clusters of whooping cough cases, in consultation with the Sciensano epidemiology service and health inspectors.
