Description

You are kindly invited to the 29th edition of the Food Microbiology Conference, organised by the Belgian Society for Food Microbiology (BSFM) and Sciensano. Sciensano is the National Reference Laboratory for food microbiology. During the conference, Sciensano and several (inter)national experts will present the latest developments in the field. 

This conference addresses food agencies, laboratories, primary producers, processing industries, food-related organisations and retail trade, as well as politicians and consumers who are interested in the quality and news about the food sector, food microbiology and particularly the food industry.

Program

Speakers from Belgium, Denmark, France, Italy, the Netherlands and Switzerland will take the floor. The event will be held in French, Dutch and English. Simultaneous translation into French and Dutch will be provided.

The conference will take place:

  • On 2 October 2025 from 9:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
  • On 3 October 2025 from 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
