Astrid Lavens obtained her Master’s Degree in Biomedical scienses (2006) and Molecular Biotechnologie (2007) at Ghent University. Since 2012, she is employed as scientific researcher and project manager at the ‘Health Services Research’ unit of Sciensano (Brussels, Belgium).
