Mr Giresse Hermann Tima PhD

After graduating with a Master degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the ULB, Giresse Tima completed a PhD in Biology Sciences in the Immunology laboratory of the former Scientific Institute of Public Health. His PhD research focused on the analysis of the inflammatory potential of Mycobacterium tuberculosis mycolate esters and their relevance as adjuvant for subunit vaccine.
After having worked as scientific collaborator for the in vivo models service of Sciensano in the context of the European project TBVAC2020, he is currently working in the Viral Diseases service where he is involved in the RABYD-VAX project.
