Sciensano is organising the 7th national Health Interview Survey to answer this question!
Starting in February 2023, some 200 interviewers will visit 6,000 households across the country to survey them about their health and lifestyle. Sciensano repeats this large-scale population survey every 5 years, providing a good view on the evolution of the main health problems in the population. This is very valuable information that allows researchers to advise policy makers on how to improve certain aspects of public health.
