Dr. Arnaud Capron PhD

Arnaud Capron obtained his PhD in Biomedical and Pharmaceutical Sciences from the Université catholique de Louvain in 2009, specialising in therapeutic monitoring and toxicology. He started his career as a scientific manager and forensic expert in the medical biochemistry laboratories of the Cliniques Universitaires Saint-Luc in Brussels. In 2017, he joined Sciensano as a scientific collaborator.
Since 2020, he is head of the Laboratory Quality Department. This department is responsible for monitoring the quality of medical laboratory services and for organising external quality programmes for human and veterinary diagnostic laboratories.
