Charlotte Sohier MSc

Charlotte Sohier graduated in 2009 as a Biologist at Ghent University. In 2016 she started at Sciensano as a PhD student. She is working at the Unit of Enzootic, Vector Borne and Bee Diseases. In 2021 she obtained her PhD degree. Her main research focus goes to vector borne diseases like Schmallenberg virus, Lumpy Skin Disease virus and different flaviviruses with emphasis on vector competence of indigenous arthropod vectors and virus-vector-host interactions.
