Samenvatting:
An interoperable architecture is essential to strengthen preparedness for potential future pandemics. Therefore, an overarching Belgian
infrastructure called be.Prepared has been developed to improve the surveillance of infectious diseases. The architecture supports the
central collection, processing, and linking of laboratory, clinical, epidemiological data with microbial genomic indicator data
derived from Whole Genome Sequencing (WGS) analysis securely.
