Laura Bonacini studeerde in 2019 cum laude af in Public Health aan de UCLouvain. Zij begon in 2021 bij Sciensano als datamanager in de afdeling Gezondheidszorgonderzoek om onderzoekers te ondersteunen bij het verzamelen en valideren van gegevens. In 2023 ging Laura aan de slag bij de afdeling Zorginfecties en antibioticaresistentie waar ze werkt als wetenschapper over antimicrobiële consumptie in België.
